The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

From my first contact with GLS I was impressed with professionalism and fast service. The concept of the school is the one I would like to pursue if I were ever again to get enrolled in language teaching profession. My both teachers were excellent. The group I was with was nice but first two weeks rather closed and inactive in the class, despite all teacher's efforts. I chose GLS for many reasons but very much thanks to the 18-80 slogan and I was thinking to myself if it was my age or just a bad luck.

I enjoyed all seminars about Berlin but I wish there were more seminars to attend.

Since I got so pasionate about learning German and discovering Germany and Berlin over the last 2.5 years I was disappointed with so little German being spoken in the GLS area outside the classrooms. Something in the way of encouragement to speak more German was missing, I guess...or it has got to do with GLS's target students coming for longer stays in Berlin?!

Given the fact that the school is in Berlin, there could have been much more to the after class activities, more creativity, more of art scene, more opportunities for people who came to Berlin and GLS alone to mingle with other people etc.

Your recommendations for other students

If you are looking for a professional approach and have enough time and money at your disposal to stay in Berlin, GLS could be a nice starting point to get your way around Berlin.
