The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

Good: being able to start on any Monday, broad age range of students, great day excursion to Leipzig, campus facilities really good, use of Smart board technology in classroom, really helpful staff at reception, location of school (close to public transport). The second of our lecturers, Christine, was fantastic, very clear, used a broad range of material, encouraged oral language skills, talked about topical issues.

Not so good: The first of our lecturers did not know how to use the smart board fully and her teaching style was awkward at times. For example, I had to ask her to write the answers to complex grammatical questions on the board, not just give verbal answers (C1 level), we spent way too much time talking about the relationship between art and politics (boring after the third day), and she didn't give me my text book on the first day or explain where to get it. A classmate helped me with that. I did find it a bit distracting with students dropping in and out of the class during the week.

Your recommendations for other students

A well-run language school with good facilities, average cost, great location. I enjoyed the course very much although there was a difference in the approach to teaching between the two lecturers. The age range was good and I found it quite sociable.
