Since when do you work with GLS? How did it start?

We started working with GLS after visiting the school as part of the IALC conference in Berlin in April 2022.

Please describe your agency

Blue Stamp Travel are a small, agency based in Nottingham. We pride ourselves on understanding the needs of the young people that we serve and our ability to work with parents/carers and schools having experienced teachers and school leaders on our staff. Specialising in intensive language courses and work experience abroad, Blue Stamp Travel are an approachable, friendly, caring team who take pride in providing a personal service.

Why do your clients book Berlin (and not other places in Germany)?

Berlin attracts students who are keen to experience the capital, the history and the modern Germany. Many have studied the significance of Berlin in the history of Berlin and know that a visit to the capital is an essential experience for any student of the German language.

What was the last time you met GLS staff? On a fair, a IALC roadshow...?

We met the team at the IALC event in Berlin in April 2022. We were incredibly impressed by the school and the team and knew we wanted to work with you straight away. The event hosted at the school was so professional and an indication of the quality that the school offers.

Your impression of Berlin, especially the GLS district Prenzlauer Berg?

The district gives the impression of a really cool place for young students.

?What do you like/dislike about GLS?

 The campus feel is a really nice model. We also liked the accommodation on site and the quality of the residences.

The staff at GLS were particularly welcoming and to meet the family behind the organisation was really nice. As a family business ourselves it was nice to see.
